This is Christmas time when I am writing this. This is the time of miracles. I have a beautiful Christmas and New Year story. When I was only 3 years old, I was a clear little being with an open mind and a power of imagination. I desired to have a toy automatic machine gun. I remember imagining it in details, the signals and functions. I told everybody in the family my dream. At New Year’s Eve, I found my gun under the tree. While I was finding all the previously imagined functions and savoring my present, my family huddled up to know who had bought the present. My family consisted of four adults. My granddad and granny did not buy it to me. They were such sincere people, but moreover it was evident that they could not buy such a toy, because it was still the Soviet time, and the toy looked pretty extraordinary for that time, there were no such toys in Minsk. My father unfortunately would never even try to buy me such a toy. Only my mother maybe could buy it to me, if she had gone to Moscow for the present, if ever there were such toys there. However, she did not go, it is a mystery for her up until now. I had my machine gun and did not bother where it came from. In our family, it is a story sometimes remembered during Christmas and New Year. This story reminds us about the power of imagination, about a clear thought, when you are absolutely aligned with your dream. You put no burdens and restrictions on your imagination. You let it soar and expand. Your imaginative power is not split by doubts. Your imagination goes beyond what is real. Your imagination ignores all the laws of reality. Your free imagination does not obey to any common sense. Your imagined reality feels as real as your goose skin.
Your imagination is actually the only real place of total freedom. Who wants total freedom? Who is crazy enough to have it? With no restrictions to it. With no burdens. Is anyone able to savor in your imagination not split by analyzing by pros and cons? Is anyone so brave to imagine your desire pure, solid? Are you crazy to be aligned with the imaginary reality? Already getting off on the cool feeling of the imagined desire, before it has manifested.
Thank you, Mr. Keating, because you taught how to have miracles in our life, how to see beyond what is now, how to express the power inside of each of us, how to propel life forward, how to savor every moment instead of limiting life to a number of simple activities and transient rules, how to become a feeler of subtle matter, how to become a visionary of grander future. You taught us real freedom. The real freedom is the ability to fly high in your dreams pre-investigating grander future. I always remind myself that I am capable of having a fairy toy gun in Soviet Minsk where there is no possibility to have it. This is freedom and the power hidden in there. Reality will limit you, but your imagination will not. If you are totally aligned with you fantastic dream, the reality will obey. You do not know how, but it will. There is no other way, because you already live your dream. It is as truthful as your goose skin. Mr. Keating was teaching the mastery of life. He truly knew the secret that…
