Nowadays more and more supermarkets appear in our cities . They are called self- service shops . Why do people like shopping in this self – service shop ? There are three main reasons for this : it doesn’t take them much time, there is a wide choice of all possible products in this shop and the prices are not very high. Customers can buy all the necessary foodstuffs there : bread, milk, meat, fish, grocery, sausages, sweets, vegetables and fruit .

When customers come into the shop, they take a food basket and choose the products they want to buy. When they put everything they want into the basket, they come up to the cashier’s desk. Kenya appears in many tourist brochures. The Kenyan government has made tourist development a priority. It has spent money on building hotels, airports, safari huts and all the other requirements for tourists from developed countries. The planes landing at Nairobi airport bring rich tourists from Europe, North America and Japan. Some come for Kenya's fine beaches. Most are more interested in the wildlife of East Africa. Lions, zebras, elephants and hippopotamuses are among the attractions.

Kenya's tourist industry earns the country over £200 million per year, but tourism does bring problems for a developing country. Only 75 per cent of the money spent by tourists stays in Kenya. The rest is taken by foreign companies which provide the hotels and the safaris.

2. – Where does Kenya appear?

The tourists drink Scotch whisky or Russian vodka. The hotels are fitted with American air-conditioning and Japanese lifts. The electrical system is Dutch and the fire control system is Italian. The safari vehicles are Japanese Land Cruisers. These imports cost Kenya vital foreign exchange.

Kenya borrowed money from overseas to pay for the tourist developments, and much of the profits from tourism are spent in repaying the loans.

There have been several armed attacks on tourists. The bad publicity hit Kenya's tourist earnings because people were frightened off. It is risky to become over-dependent upon tourism.

Most of the jobs created for Kenyans are unskilled and poorly paid. Some complain that tourism is a new form of colonialism. Tourism has also come into conflict with Kenya's rapid population growth. More mouths to feed means more demand for farmland. Already some Kenyans are demanding that the National Parks be opened up for farming.

Painting in Kashmir

This holiday is designed to offer you leisurely painting time in some of India's most spectacular scenery.

The architecture and scenery alone as subject matter are a painter's delight, but this trip will also provide you with an insight into the varied cultures and people of this wonderfully mysterious and romantic country. During the hot summers of the northern plains, Moghul emperors retreated to the far more pleasant climate of Kashmir. Of the green valleys and wild flowers on the slopes, a poet said, "If there is a paradise on earth, it is this".

Acapulco is Mexico's most glamorous resort, where the sun shines 300 days a year, and where the nightlife enjoys an international reputation. By day, take a cruise on a catamaran round the Bahia de Acapulco, one of the world's most beautiful bays, or sit in the shade of a palm tree on one of the many splendid beaches.

Those who are more energetic can stroll around Old Acapulco, with its famous Plaza Caletilla, and watch the cliff-divers leaping 40 metres into the sea from the cliff at La Quebrada. By night, dine on fresh seafood at a romantic rooftop restaurant, then dance until dawn in one of the many discos in 'The Strip'. Alternatively, you could relax in a nightclub, or go on a late-night shopping trip for clothing, jewellery, and handicrafts.

2.–What Acapulco is?

- How many days does the sun shine in Acapulco?

- What beaches are in Acapulco?

- What do you do in Acapulco at night?

This is a tour of total contrast, spanning 3,500 years of history visiting the ancient stones of Stonehenge and the fine cities of Salisbury and Bath, associated both with the Romans and Regency  England.

Stonehenge looms in lonely majesty over Salisbury Plain. Bronze-age Stonehenge with its towering 50-ton pillars created by a unique civilisation in Britain more than 3,000 years ago and in more recent times has been a sanctuary for various religious cults. Salisbury: a historic cathedral which has the tallest spire in England. Bath was built by the Romans 2,000 years ago and revived in the 18th century. Our tour includes a visit to the famous Roman Baths and the Pump Room where the cure was taken by fashionable society. There is also the opportunity to view the 15th century Abbey and the charming squares. We shall see the river Avon and delightful Pulteney Bridge and can browse among the many antique and craft shops.

Sydney is Australia's oldest, largest and loveliest state capital with a population of over 3,000,000. It is a colourful, modern city but it has also a natural beauty with green parkland and perhaps the world's most beautiful deep-water harbour.

As well as being famous for its modern buildings and roads, there are many places of historical interest in Sydney. For example, Mrs Macquarie's Chair, the area called the Rocks dating back to the early nineteenth century, and the attractive terrace houses of Paddington, are all close to the harbour and the city centre.

Sydney has many attractions which tourists can enjoy — surf beaches, a zoo, Koala Bear Park and an Opera House which is situated at the water's edge. Some say that this is one of the most beautiful examples of modern architecture in the world.

  1.  -What is Sydney?

-How many places of interests are in Sydney?

- What can tourists enjoy in Sydney?

- What the most beautiful  examples of modern architecture is?

  - How much money did Kenya government spend?

 - What kind of animals there are in Kenya?

- How much money does tourist industry earn?
