Employer Description: This is a family owned restaurant. Captain George's originally debuted in the 1970's and has 4 locations along the Eastern Seaboard. Captain George’s provides guests with the ultimate seafood dining experience in an upscale setting.
Job Types: Buffet Runner.
Job Descriptions: Buffet Runner: Responsible for primary setup, maintaining and breaking down the buffet area. Assisting servers, cooks and other employees as needed. Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Physically able to use your abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly and continuously. Work at a fast pace for several hours while standing and walking. Maintain a clean and presentable uniform. Work together as a team. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures. Attendance and punctuality are a mandatory part of this position. Carry hot/cold food from kitchen area into buffet area and place safely in its correct place.

Work Dates:
Arrival Dates – Beginning of June.
End Dates – At least 3 months.
Male/Female, Couples, Friend Groups: No preference for male/female ratio, couples ok, friend groups ok.
Salary: $8.00 per hour.
Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Housing Information: Your employer does not provide accommodations, but they do assist in finding housing. Once you have been hired you will be sent information regarding potential housing costs and locations, and instructions on who to contact to set up housing.
Uniform: Buffet Runner: You should bring black, closed toed and slip resistant shoes, black pants or slacks(not tight), and a black belt. A shirt will be provided by Captain George's.
Area Description: Whether you are strolling one of the nation’s best boardwalks in the Resort Area, catching crabs on the Chesapeake Bay, or shopping in on of the areas popular malls, each region of Virginia Beach has something for everyone. During the summer there are fun festivals and concerts every week, and plenty of watersports to participate in, like fishing, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and parasailing. Virginia Beach is home of the Virginia Aquarium, the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Arts, the Naval Aviation Museum, and close to attractions like historical Williamsburg and the Jamestown Settlement. From here Washington DC is just a four hour day trip!
