So, this is for you!
Polessk is a town in Kaliningrad region known as Labiau until 1945. Polessk is situated between Kaliningrad and Sovetsk on the Deyma River at the Curonian Lagoon.
There are 5 reasons to se this beautiful trip off: you will find yourselves in “Kaliningrad Venice”, you will have an unforgettable trip to the Curonian Lagoon, see Labiau castle, which was presented to Dorothea of Denmark by Albreht Brandenburg in 1526. You will be pleased with fishing and gathering nature gifts and see the virgin corner of nature.
So, this is a plan of the trip:
1st day: Town tour. You will visit Labiau castle with its own historical museum, the museum of dolls, the performance of Labiau INS theatre.
2nd day: Water trip. We will go around Polessk on the boats, then we will go to Curonian Lagoon. In village "Zalivino" you will be able to relax on the beach or go fishing.
3rd day: Around the Polessk area trip. We will visit some museums in different villages. The museum of “Old German school Valdvinkel”. In this museum we will know more about school life in East Prussia. Then we will visit the museum “On a visit by a currant” The museum has an unusual recipes of cooking currant, black currant plantation tours, tasting, selling plants and more.
4th day: Visiting the villages. On this day we will bring you a chance to visit 3 different villages.
“Features of Polessk fishing” (village Sholokhovo) is the most popular place for sightseeing.
“Yard of the goat” (village Zelenovo) there is a museum of antique farm equipment and utensils. We think it would be interesting for all tourists.
“Horses-pony-yard” (village Belomorskoe) – it is a beautiful village, where you can relax! Kids can ride a horse. And after all tourists can taste the goat's milk.
Last day you will be brought to a traditional event called “The day of the town”. This is a day for fun! You can just listen to traditional Russian songs, taste different food and more.
In the evening you are welcome to a disco party.
