I’m Financial Director of the company “In Style” and I want to tell you a few words about the financial position of our company. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! I sponsor the company “In Style”, which is a very successful company with the turnover of more than €200,000,000. Putting material actives into long-term investments, we create a new vision of high-quality fabrics. Unique technological lines allow us to reduce manufacturing expenses, to enlarge the assortment of products, and to create new workplaces. We must feel we are leaders of the international trade.
Now, when the company is planning output expansion, and wants to increase the volume of production in order to gain new market shares, I have to consider the main calculated economic indexes for future investments. I am going to invest €10,000,000 into this project. To make a final decision it is necessary to estimate the efficiency of investments. The main factors to be considered are the payback period, the average return on book value, the net present value and the internal rate of return. I am satisfied with the calculations done by the company’s economists. They found out that the payback period would last 4 years. The internal rate of return ratio is going to be 24%, which is even better than the average indexes in the industry. Therefore, the investments are effective, when the return on investments exceeds the sum of investments.
From the economic point of view, “In Style” for us is a very perspective project, and I hope, that Financial Director Andrew Canoe will run the company successfully. Investing money in this particular branch, we invest in our future!
