  1.  Sport is very important in our life. Many people who go in for sports have a lot of advantages in comparison with those who don’t like sport. First of all, all sportsmen become healthy and strong, sport helps them to keep fit, not to catch a cold. People who do physical exercises keep fit and healthy. Sports and games can be of great value to people who work with their brains; to people who lead a sedentary lifestyle. Moreover taking up a sport has also many psychological benefits. Firstly, it relieves the stresses of everyday life and secondly, it helps individuals identify with a group and replace their loneliness with the security of belonging. Such modern kinds of sport as shaping and bodybuilding are very popular among teenagers. But nevertheless it is a well –known fact that a great number of teenagers are fond of sitting in front of computers, playing computer games and refusing to go for a walk. That’s why much attention is paid to physical education as an important subject at school.

There are a lot of interesting and useful professions. I am going to become a teacher. I suppose my future profession to be one of the most important nowadays.

My future speciality is English (Literature, Russian, History, Geography). I love children very much and to become a teacher has been my dream since my early childhood.

To teach and to bring up children is the most important and noble thing, to my mind. I am eager to get the proper education to be able to do my best to teach my future pupils my favourite subject. I'll try not only to help them to master it. I'll try to help them to become good and clever people, to be honest, kind and noble.

Children are our future and I want them to be really good and educated people. Of course, the profession of a teacher is not an easy one. It demands a lot of knowledge, a lot of tenderness of feeling and sometimes a lot of patience. But I hope, that I'll be a good teacher and that my pupils will like me and my subject.

  1.  There are many types of education. People learn a lifetime. I think that education in modern society, it is for each student or pupil on the computer , teachers teach using the interactive whiteboard , the same homework to send through the mail. In modern society, every day there are new technologies , but to our country , it comes slowly , and this education in Kazakhstan is not developed as in other developed countries . Just a new program in schools, which states that even parents will receive assessment of children and control them, and then they will be able to look through the internet . this program is not developed and has received negative criticism. In my opinion education in modern society is not developed .. We must do everything in order to match its status.

1)  What makes a good teacher?     First of all, a good teacher must know the necessary knowledge to teach his subject. Good teachers respect all students. A good teacher can be defined as a best friend. A good teacher must have many supported materials ready for class. A good teacher helps the child realize her strengths and encourages and challenges the student to learn through those strengths. The best teachers are the ones who teach to the whole child. Their vision of education is not limited to the tangibles of academic achievement but encompasses daily doses of compassion, flexibility, communication, humor, imagination, and the willingness to be open minded. Most importantly, a good teacher is someone who uses both his head and her heart in equal measure throughout the school day. A good teacher is not threatened by parent advocacy.

2)

Jeremy: Good evening, Mr. Anderson.

Mr. Anderson: Good evening, Jeremy. How are you?

Jeremy: I'm fine, thank you. And how are you?

Mr. Anderson: Life is going its usual way. What are you seeing tonight?

Jeremy: Actually, I'm here to see Shakespeare's famous play "Hamlet". How about you?

Mr. Anderson: What a coincidence! I have tickets for the same play. Are you with your family?

Jeremy: Just with my nephew. He is only 9 years old and I want to introduce the theatre life to him. Besides, I'd like him to learn about Shakespeare's plays. He'll need in the future anyway.

Mr. Anderson: You're right. Children should know about such authors and their work.

Jeremy: Yes. Are you here on your own or with a family?

Mr. Anderson: I am with my wife. She adores theatre plays and we come here almost every week.

Jeremy: I see. That's great. So, you must have seen some other plays of this season and which is the best one in your opinion?

Mr. Anderson: You're right. We've seen many plays this season. I thought the best was Oscar Wilde's play "An ideal husband".

Jeremy: What's so special about this play?

Mr. Anderson: It is a moving comedy which revolves around blackmail and political corruption. The action is set in London. The play was rather amusing. I've heard that it is one of the most popularly produced plays of Oscar Wilde.

Jeremy: Sounds interesting. If I get a chance, I will definitely see this comedic stage play. I see. Thanks for advice. Now I know how to spend my weekend.

Mr. Anderson: You're welcome. I think we should hurry. The "Hamlet" starts. Where are your seats?

1)Cannot be the  ideal person, but by the phrase ideal upbringing, I understand, a person must be able to behave in society, manners conversation, behavior. This is even reflected in the form of a man, is a character. It all starts with early childhood education with parents, kindergarten, school, etc. Ideal upbringing is evident throughout respect for elders, a sense of responsibility, a sense of gratitude. Everyone should educate yourself, love of country, to their native language, to traditions, to relatives.

1) Teacher - is not a profession, it's a lifestyle. No profession more honorable than the teaching profession, there is work harder and more responsible than his work. Modern pace of life requires teachers continuous professional growth and creative attitude to work, dedication.

At the beginning of their professional activities young teacher is faced with certain difficulties. Inability to accurately calculate the time in class, it is logical to build a sequence of steps of the lesson, explaining the difficulty of the material, the lack of mutual understanding with colleagues - this is not a complete list of adversity trapping novice teachers

Novice teacher must adapt to the new team, to establish the right relationship with the children, to be able to competently and emotionally speaking lessons, try to interest children in their subject. That is, in short, learn to teach. He needs to develop his own personal style of communication with children, colleagues and the school administration.

1) It is very difficult to imagine an ideal school. I questioned my schoolmates and asked them to tell about the school of their dream. Their stories made a strong impression on me. To my mind they are real romantics. As it turned out, all the pupils have imagination. Some pupils dream of computers in every classroom, others wish a big videostudio. On the first floor you can find a lot of subject rooms. Usually classes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology take place in laboratories because teachers need a lot of special equipment for the lessons. I think that every pupil can`t imagine an ideal school without computers. The door to the computer class is on the right side of the corridor. As a rule pupils study computers here, but sometimes the English teacher takes them to work with English-teaching programmes and even play English computer games. It`s fun.

School means a lot in the life of everybody. The pupils meet their first friends here, learn to deal with people. Here they pave their way from ABC to profound knowledge that helps them to become top specialists. Pupils remember their teachers because they are not only instructors and tutors but their leaders, friends and school parents.

1) London

London is the capital of Great Britain. More than six million people live in London. London lies on both banks of the river Thames. It is the largest city in Europe and one of the largest cities in the world.

Traditionally it is divided into the West End and the East End. The West End is famous for its beautiful avenues lined with plane trees, big stores, rich mansions, expensive restaurants, hotels, theatres and might clubs. The East End used to be a poor area filled with warehouses, factories, slums and miserable houses. Quite a lot of people lived from hand to mouth here. For the recent years this area including Dock-land has turned into a new housing development.

The heart of London is the City - its commercial and business centre. Here is situated the Tower of London that comes first among the historic buildings of the city.

The Tower of London was founded by Julius Caesar and in 1066 rebuilt by William the Conqueror.

Since the 1970’s eating habits in Britain have undergone a change. People have been encouraged by doctors, health experts and government advertisements to eat less fat and more fibre. Fat is believed to be one of the major causes of obesity and heart disease. Forty per cent of adults in Britain are overweight and Britain has one Of the highest death rates due to cardiovascular disease in the world. Britons have also become more aware of calories, the energy value of food. Some people count the number of calories they eat every day, so that they can try to take in fewer calories and lose weight. Food manufactures have started to help the general public to make more informed choices about what they eat.

So the traditional British breakfast is bacon, eggs or sausages, preceded by fruit and followed by toasts. Britons may eat this breakfast at weekends or on special occasions but prefer a smaller and healthier meal to start a day. Lunch is a light meal and is eaten at school or work. Lunch takes 30-40 minutes. Dinner is usually the main meal of the day and consists of two courses.

In recent years, foreign foods have become a regular part of the British diet. Indian and Chinese dishes are particularly popular for evening meals. Take-aways became extremely popular in the 1980’s. The traditional British take-away is fish and chips eaten with salt and vinegar and served in an old newspaper.

The British are famous for their love of sweet things and afternoon tea with sandwiches; scones, jam and several kinds of cake, was once a traditional custom. Most working people don’t have tea as an afternoon «meal», but they do have a shortbreak in the middle of the afternoon for a cup of tea. Tea is often also drunk with lunch and dinner.

  1.  Jane: What a big crowd of people! Is it always like this?

George: Yes, when a big match is hold. You should better be closer to me. I don`t want to lose you in this crowd.

Jane: Don`t worry about me. I will keep close to you. We have got good seats, George?

George: Unfortunately not the best ones. I am sorry, Jane, but we have to stand all the time. I couldn`t get seats in the stand.

Jane: George, I am very sorry, but I just don`t know the first thing about football.

George: That is all right, Jane. What would you like to know?

Jane: First of all, I would like to know who is playing today.

George: England is playing against the Spanish national team. The Spanish players are very good, particularly their forward. I have heard he is in a perfect form now. I don`t think we have much chance of winning.

Jane: And who is the leading player in our England`s team?

George: Bobby Charlton. But he won`t play today. He was injured during the match against Italy. He is one of the best football-players I have ever seen. But our best goalkeeper is here today. He can save our team.

Jane: Do you hear the shouting?! It sounds as if the whole England is here.

George: What a perfect goal! Have you seen it? We have scored a goal and this goal was scored by my favourite team!

Jane: I have never seen anything so exciting in my life.

George: The game has just begun.

1) Kazakhs had diary products from goats, sheep, cows, horses and camels. Daily they milked sheep and goats; the cows twice a day, camels three or four times; and horses were milked six or seven times a day. Different foods were prepared from the milk. Let's describe some of them.
Sut (milk) - Usually kazakhs drank boiled milk, sometimes adding it to tea. In whole, milk was perhaps the most used diary product.

Kaimak (sour cream) - This is also made of milk, rendered as scum from boiled milk. Kazakhs used to drink tea with it. Sometimes Kazakhs dried it and sent to children who lived in remote areas, usually in cans. So kaimak or scum especially was a food of kids and elder.

Kurt - This is a product prepared by the process of pressing thick sour cream. After boiling fermented sour milk, it was poured it into a sack or bag. Here it would get rid of yellow water.

Irimzhik (curd or cottage cheese) - These were processed in Spring, because "there was much milk at that time. Curds were made from boiled unskimmed milk and added sour cream. During fermentation a rennet was also added.

Suzbe and katyk - This is strained and thick sour milk. Successfully fermented sour milk should be filtered, and if you added some salt and ate your mouth would water. Sometimes Kazakh women added suzbe to their meat broth, thin porridge or soup. So it was another of the tasty diary products.

Airan (sour milk) - Kazakh used this winter and summer if it was available, although it was very difficult to make it a coagulate. First of all its acidify had to be good.

Shubat (fermented camel's milk) - Shubat was fat and nutritious and often served as a medicine. Kazakhs added camel's milk to tea, which "burned the tea dark yellow, Shubat was considered superior to cow's milk.

Kumys - This is a very respected beverage among Kazakhs; and also considered useful for health. In early times Kazakhs would measure their richness by how much kumys they processed in a year. Kazakh kumys has its own peculiarities since the others were made of fruit, say, from grapes or pomegranates.

1)Great Britain is situated on islands. It is washed by seas from all sides. That's why the climate and the nature of Great Britain is very specific. The popular belief that it rains all the time in Britain is simply not true. In fact, London gets no more rain in a year than most other major European cities. Generally speaking, the further west you go, the more rain you get. The mild winters mean that snow is a regular feature of the higher areas only. The winters are in general a bit colder in the east of the country than they are in the west. While in summer, the south is slightly warmer and sunnier than the north. Besides Britain is famous for I fogs. Sometimes fogs are so thick that it is impossible to see anything within 2 or 3 metres

It rains very often in all seasons in Great Britain. Autumn and winter are the wettest. The sky is usually grey and cold winds blow.

  1.  With the present wide use of computers, in the course of teaching, more and more teachers are in favour of using computers as an aid in teaching their students or in appropriating the latest information from the Internet. However, I am not a believer in the argument that computers may in the future take the place of teachers in teaching students.Firstly, the creators of any education program and software need to be teachers or workers in the education system, or programmers who had previously worked in education. Therefore, although students may learn knowledge by computer, the skills and ideas ultimately emanate from the teaching staff.Secondly, while the computer may offer a correct answer or explanation to students, the comprehension capability of every student varies from student to student, making it is impossible for the computer to offer an explanation catered to a student????????s particular level of understanding. However, the teacher is able to undertake this task, as he or she possesses expertise in teaching. For example, when a teacher discovers that many students cannot understand professional knowledge, he or she may offer explanatory examples. The computer, however, may only analyze a question in terms of a simple right or wrong response..Фinally, the teachers are invariably responsible for carrying a dual role. Most teachers act as not only an educator, but also a kind of father or mother-figure in taking care of students in school. The teacher is able to assist parents in solving a child????????s mental problems other than imparting daily knowledge. The computer, which is purely an algorithmic electronic device, cannot hope to assist in this regard.

1) Almost all people are fond of travelling. It is very interesting to see new places, another towns and countries. People may travel either for pleasure or on business. There are various means of travelling. For me there is nothing like travel by air; it is more comfortable, more convenient and, of course, far quicker than any other means. There is none of the dust and dirt of a railway or car journey, none of the trouble of changing from train to steamer and then to another train. With a train you have speed, comfort and pleasure combined. From the comfortable seat of a railway carriage you have a splendid view of the whole countryside. If you are hungry, you can have a meal in the dining-car; and if a journey is a long one you can have a wonderful bed in a sleeper.Travelling by ship is also very popular now. It is very pleasant to feel the deck of the ship under the feet, to see the rise and fall of the waves, to feel the fresh sea wind blowing in the face and hear the cry of the seagulls. Many people like to travel by car. It is interesting too, because you can see many sights in a short time, you can stop when and where you like, you do not have to buy tickets or carry your suitcases.A very popular means of travelling is hiking. It is travelling on foot. Walking tours are very interesting. Hitch-hiking is a very popular method of travelling among young people. But it is not as popular in our country as abroad.
